Sabrina previously had been turned into animated tv series in 1969, 1971 and again in 1999 and the source material was turned into the Melissa Joan Hart sitcom that ran seven seasons. While the tone of the movie will be edgier, they are keeping her talking black cat Salem, who here is a transformed prince creating unique love stories for Sabrina.

Not really familiar with the Sabrina franchise but I thought Salem was a cursed warlock? He’s always been one of my favorite snarky black cats ever. (The other one being Binx from Hocus Pocus)

Refraining from the bashing the movie idea because HEY, MORE FEMALE LEADS ARE AWESOME. 

But prince though…haha, I’m on board as long as his human counterpart makes multiple references to catnip, hairballs and exhibits occasional cat behavior.
